About Dr. Jacobs
Laurence A. Jacobs, M.D. is a Mayo Clinic-trained Reproductive Endocrinologist/Infertility (REI) specialist who has practiced in the Chicago area for over 47 years. He was a partner at Fertility Centers of Illinois (FCI) for over 24 years but had mandatory age-related retirement in December 2021 and was restricted from practicing infertility in Wisconsin and Illinois for three years.
That is when he was recruited by Alice Crisci, CEO, to join Ovum Health in 2023 to do remote consulting and Ovum staff training and education. He continues to do telehealth training of Ovum Health staff Ob/Gyns, PAs, NPs, dieticians, and nurses and does occasional remote patient consultations to try to improve preconception health. For the last few years, he has practiced with Dr. Charles Miller as an REI at CCRM-Naperville in the Chicago suburbs.
