Monica Auslander Moreno, MS, RDN is a registered dietitian, fertility nutrition specialist, and founder of Essence Nutrition, a group practice of registered dietitians and psychotherapists. She earned her Bachelor's degree from the University of Florida and her Master's in Dietetics and Nutrition from Florida International University. Over the course of her career, Monica has worked across a wide range of clinical and wellness settings, including Jackson Memorial Hospital's Holtz Children's Hospital, Ocean Reef Club, Fisher Island Club, and the Miami Marlins, where she served as the team dietitian.

Monica's passion for fertility nutrition is both professional and deeply personal. Having been through assisted reproductive technology (ART) herself, she understands firsthand the physical, emotional, and nutritional complexities that can accompany the fertility journey. She believes nutrition should feel supportive and empowering — not restrictive — and works with patients to create realistic, individualized strategies that nourish the body while supporting fertility, pregnancy, and overall well-being.

In addition to her private practice, Monica is the RD for Mamala Organics, Expecting Together, Ollie Pediatrics, and Quotient Sciences. She is also an adjunct professor in the graduate Dietetics and Nutrition program at Florida International University and has taught at the University of Miami and Keiser University. Monica has presented at national nutrition and wellness conferences and has delivered hundreds of presentations throughout her career.

Based in Miami, Monica is a certified Pilates instructor and, most importantly, a mom to two little boys. She brings a blend of evidence-based expertise, humor, warmth, and personal experience to every patient she works with.
